Queen Charlotte's Hospital in association with Lord Robert Winston. The Ball will be hosted by the newly refurbished Savoy Hotel and is expected to be a hugely sought after international event which will take place on 16th September 2009
History of Queen Charlotte's Ball
In 1780 King George III held a May Ball to raise money for a London maternity hospital named after his wife Queen Charlotte . Over the years the Ball was formalised into the London Debutante Season and became an enormously glamorous event for debutantes across the world. The London Season Committee is delighted to work with Lord Winston in reviving this fabulous Ball.
